This excellent article from the Journal of Accountancy illustrates many of the ways that existing estate plans need to be revisited given our current estate tax conundrum.  From bypass trusts, to GST, to faulty formula clauses, there are many issues that need to be addressed so that unintended consequences do not distort the client's wishes.
